I took Little Man out for his first time Trick or Treating last night. He was so cute dressed as a little cowboy. I dressed him in a pair of jeans, a plaid shirt, a vest and he had a cowboy hat. The hat came with a little red bandana and a plastic silver deputy badge, but those two things didn't make the cut. The badge wouldn't stay on his vest and I couldn't get the bandana close to being tied around his neck. Maybe next year, because I'll probably re-use the idea. We only went to three houses as we were walking, it was dark and I was carrying him. Boy, is he heavy!
Anyway, he did well for the first time going out. He had no fear at all and one of the neighbors was dressed up like a clown. He just walked right in to the house like he belonged there and he and I have only ever been inside their house once before when he was too little to remember. I tried to take pictures of him when we got back home, but he kept rushing the camera when he would see me and I don't think I got much in the stills department. I did grab the video camera and take some film that way and it was easier. Plus I got to capture him pretending to eat two chocolate bars, so that was cute. Overall, I think he had fun.
